In Greek mythology, the almighty Zeus took Metis, the Goddess of Wise Counsel, as his first wife. Metis was a mate wiser than all gods and mortal men. Ultimately, she caused Zeus to give birth to Athena. As for Metis, she remained in Zeus' head, advising him as the goddess of wisdom.

  Initially only offered $4,000, we knew this case was going to be a tough one. Our client sustained an 8 mm herniation in her lower back and had to undergo an epidural and facet joint shot for her pain. Defense, as per usual, claimed “low impact” and only upped her offer to $7,500. We fought for this tooth and nail and obtained a $155,000 verdict. Mercury Insurance will now have to pay the judgment PLUS fees and costs. #juryverdict #metislawgroup
