Maple City Music Therapy is an agency serving the Steuben County region. Maple City Music Therapy is run by a board certified music therapist.

My mission is to provide quality music therapy services to the Steuben county community. I will also work to advance the public's awareness of the benefits of music therapy and developing collaborative relationships with other service health professionals in the area.

Alicia Hubbard is a board-certified music therapist who graduated from Nazareth College with a B.M. in Music Therapy. She completed a 10-month internship at Monroe #1 BOCES in Fairport, NY.

While at Nazareth College, Alicia learned piano, guitar, mandolin, ukulele and a variety of percussive instruments. Alicia was honored to receive the “Excellence in Music Therapy” award from faculty. Alicia has also been honored to present at several Mid-Atlantic Region Music Therapy Conferences.

During her clinical training, Alicia worked with children with special needs, typically developing children, older adults with a variety of disorders from psychological to special needs, a large group of older adults with dementia/ Alzheimer’s and an older adult with a subdural hematoma. More recently, Alicia has spent her time working with older adults (specializing in working with those with Alzheimer’s/ Dementia).
