Food was rich and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. This place is actually an old wood mill that's been converted into a dining room... lots of interesting views. Expect to pay fifty dollars a person.

Nice place with decent food at times. Very inconsistent. Sometimes you get a good meal, other times you have to wonder just who they have cooking in the kitchen. They also need a better happy hour menu that is equivalent to other better NVA restaurants. $5 cocktails and apps please! I would come more often if you had better food and better prices.

We have been here a few times. I always enjoy my food and the service has been good. The actual building itself is really very interesting. The wood structure is beautiful and the huge gears in the ceiling from the previous mill is very neat. It strikes a good balance with clean and classic. You don't feel like you're eating in some old dusty mill. We usually go for an earlier dinner and haven't had to wait long. The menu changes enough to keep it interesting, but they have their staples that you can order each time. They allowed me to make simple substitutions with my meal which was nice. What a treasure for Purcellville! The extra town tax on the bill was a surprise, but I guess everyone wants their piece of the pie.

Great atmosphere! Try the Bison Burger. They also have excellent steaks. Located in an old Mill dating back to 1905. They tried their best to keep the old structure in tack while incorporating the restaurant. The service is always good. If you call ahead, they can get you a private room upstairs. The bar is good place to grab a brew and the game.

Magnolia's is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. I love that we can get a little dolled up or show up in jeans and still get a superb meal with excellent service. Cocktails are amazing, great beer selection, and the food is wonderful. We love to share the small plates as a meal or stick with some of our favorite dinners like the salmon and wasabi potatoes. And, if you're a fan, their Brussels sprouts are to die for. I always have a great time at Magnolia's and my whole family loves it, too!

Great dining. Great food. Great place. Highly recommended. Go here often on bike rides. It's right at the end of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. They have a great out door patio and porch. We eat on the patio when the weather is nice. I recommend it highly.

Not which day, or the time of day, matters. This is one of the best places to eat, and just relax, in Purcellville. I've been in the restaurant business for 30 years and never have I come across a crew like the crew here. Highly professional, warm, friendly and they go out of their way to make me feel as though I am part of the family. Highly recommend you try it out, and if things aren't as you'd like, they'll find a way to please you.

Chef Erik has a mind for quality and is not afraid to create the unthinkable! A mastermind of epic proportions! And while we're talking portions, you will not leave hungry! Ask for the special and be amazed at the finer dining you'll have. You can ask any server about any part of your meal and what wine or whiskey pairs well. Awesome place to relax and enjoy an incredible dining experience!!

Fabulous locally sourced seasonal food with excellent service. The old mill building has been restored and updated while preserving its history in the details. A great all around dining experience!

Our party of three Sun.7/16 was seated next to the kitchen and adjacent to the bar at 6:45 as per our reservation. We were abruptly greeted by our waiter with no smile or introduction. He seemed so busy he was aggravated when we asked two questions about 2 entrees. He answered our questions but with an insulting attitude.
The rare Ribeye was very tough as was the well done Fillet which was way over charred. The two cuts of Pork; cheek meat burnt and dry but stuffed tenderloin was very good.
We were so disappointed in the rude service and the steaks that we won't come back ! We expected a much nicer meal and were shocked with disappointment.
This comment comes from someone who was a chef for 11 years.
At minimum, guests should never be treated rudely !!
    Very sorry.

    Top. Notch.

Magnolia's at the Mill greets you with a warm atmosphere of raw wood and low ambient light, a u-shaped bar and ample seating.

They've just revised their menu with a host of local and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the Smoked Chicken with Ravioli (which is made in-house, might I add).

However, save this one for special occasions. A full dinner for two will run you $100 without batting an eye.

Love this place. The food is wonderful. The restaurant is cozy. Parking is ample. And the outside patio is delightful. Great staff that are a great combination of city slicker training with warm friendly personalities. My absolute favorite is the fried green oysters.

Two vegetarians fresh from camping had a fabulous time here! The restaurants decor is somewhere between high end and being at home. I love the quilts on the walls! Be sure to ask about the drink of the day. All the staff are friendly from beginning to end. The ingredients are sourced from local farms, and the dishes are a mix between homey and inspired.

One of the nicer places in Loudoun to eat. The food is always consistently good and the service too. Many beers on tap. It has the old mill feel and has ample seating. Sometimes there is a wait, even if you have reservations.

New to the area and fell in love with this place. The whole experience was great. The service was amazing and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu had a good selection making it hard to choose a meal. The ambiance was perfect for a family dinner or a romantic night out. I can't wait to go again and would highly recommend this place.

Our favorite place to eat in Purcellville. The food is excellently prepared. The service is fantastic. The Mill is a delightful atmosphere. Reservations are pretty easy to come by. You can find them on OpenTable.

We've tried Magnolia's a few times, but each time walk away unimpressed and disappointed by the food mainly; the service is okay but not great. We feel Magnolia's is overpriced for the quality and quantity of food and service you receive. We will not go back to Magnolia's. This last time in particular, the service was slow (we sat for about 5-10 minutes without anyone helping us or bringing us any bread, water, etc.). Our food (salmon and steak) came out under/unevenly cooked and without much flavor. The couple positives we can give Magnolia's is the ambience and environment is beautiful in its rustic wood style. The craft beer/wine list is also very expansive and great.

Food is excellent. Setting is beautiful. I was not 100% satisfied with the service, as it took way too long to get our drink orders, then receive our drinks, then food orders, etc. Good food made up for it.
