Welcome to Koru Massage - Leah Hawtin, Licensed Massage Therapist.

THE NAME:
Why the name 'Koru'? I'm from New Zealand and have great Mana (Pride) in my birth country. Koru is very important to us - It is the Maori name for "Loop", a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling fern fond and it symbolizes new life, growth and strength. I believe these core things are essential to our whole being and allow us to stay present and also work towards our future, this includes in the physical realm. We can assist our bodies on a day to day basis and to also heal, we just have to listen...

WHO I AM?:
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for the past 20+ years, having been trained in London and also here in the United States. I'm a dual citizen of the USA & NZ. I owned and operated a Massage Clinic here in Washington for 17 years, my staff and I worked with clients doing Relaxation, Therapeutic and Injury Work.

In 2013 I took a sabbatical, returning to New Zealand for 15 months and now have come back, re-establishing myself to again continue my journey in assisting others in 2015.

I have wonderful people that I presently work with and after many years of having a closed books, have now re-opened them at this time and welcome new clients.

MY SCHEDULE:
I work on a limited appointment based schedule and do '60 or 90' minute sessions only. I feel that the body and the therapist both need that time to help assist the client with their goals.

FEE SCHEDULE:
60 Minute Relaxation - $70
60 Minute Therapeutic - $85
90 Minute Relaxation/Therapeutic - $110
