Description
The police department serves the city of Kasson, MN with its population of approximately 6,000. Eight full time officers and 6 part time officers provide police coverage 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Ranks include the Chief of Police, Investigator, Sargent, K-9 Officer, School Resource Officer and Patrol Officers. The police department also is fortunate to have a Police Reserve program. This consists of volunteer members from the community who receive training and volunteer their time to assist with special duties such as school functions and riding along with officers on duty.
