The installers did an exceptional job with the installation and clean-up afterwards, including washing the windows! Instructions were given to me on how to handle the tilt window. They are to be commended on this job!User
Don't use this company - they farm out work to independent contractors that have low quality standards and complain about correcting their own mistakes.
Was initially quoted to start in 4-6 weeks. No word from them on delays, I had to call to get updates. After 12 weeks, they finally started - they can not use weather as a reason for delay because there was actually no rain during the weeks other than at night that whole 12 weeks. When they finally started, they actually did demo on the WRONG HOUSE! They then had to replace the posts they demoed on my neighbors house and then start on my house. Once complete, work looked good until I was hanging Christmas lights - There was large gaps at the top of the columns! I called back to report the issues and that water and animals could get inside columns and ruin them. When the contractor finally called me, he complained that he had to come out to fix HIS mistakes, he even requested use of MY ladder so that he didn't have to bring one. After another week, he came back and complained even more that what he was fixing would not be seen by anyone. I can't believe he complained that he had to fix his lack of workmanship. Fixes were completed hastily and are not up to original quality of the columns and are obvious fixes.User
lots of stuff to offerUser
Due to snow/ice buildup sliding off roof and tearing gutters away from my home, I phoned the company who replaced my gutters two years ago, also due to snow/ice buildup, destroying the ones they had put up originally approximately eight years prior. I was told they may be able to check it out in two weeks, ----- I phoned George Grove & Son and was told they would be able to come out early next week which sounded much better, however, shortly thereafter I received a call from one of their servicemen stating they were on the way back from a job in Harrisburg and would be able to stop by my home within 45 minutes or so. Needless to say, I was very happy to hear that. John and Shawn arrived and tackled the job promptly, professionally and efficiently. Although I do not yet know the cost of the job, I can say I would highly recommend George Grove and Son not only because they went out of their way to help me with a very stressful situation during a very busy time for them but also because of the way my call was handled by, I believe, Kristi. She was very friendly and understanding of my situation. Thank you to all at George Grove & Son. JOSIE RICE User
new review. these guys are really good. they let us pay ahead so the final bill is more affordable for us. they do good work and have never tried to sell us something we didn't want or need. the outside of our house looks great thanks to them. 5 stars.User
After seeing the work these guys did on our neighbor’s house, we also hired them. Initially we just wanted them to close in our back porch, but we ended up changing the plans to creating a studio apartment for my mother in law. The room turned out absolutely beautifully and George J. Grove Jr. and his team were fantastic to work with. The work they do is great but the customer service we experienced from this company is exceptional.User
Waited months and months for them to start my project..not only did they NEVER show, he used taxpayer money to use the court system to harass me for payment for materials for years...for work that was NEVER done. Never again. They lost btw.User
I would recommend this company to anyone. The workmanship was excellent and their professionalism in dealing with a misunderstanding was far better than one would expect from a business . When the estimator came to my house we discussed the job. Unfortunately what I thought I relayed as the work to be done and what he understood were two different things. When I got the written estimate I made the mistake of just looking at the bottom line. They completed the work on the estimate. Unfortunately it wasn't, in my mind, complete according to the conversation we had. I'm sure legally they did exactly what was on the estimate. However, they were very understanding and worked with me. They actually came out and finished what I expected, even though it cut into their profit margin. They basically finished the job I expected for free. They were more worried about my satisfaction. Not too many companies would have done that. That confirms the saying the customer is always right, even though in this case I probably wasn't. They realized it was a miscommunication and remedied the situation. It's good to see that some companies still value customer satisfaction and not just their bottom line. If they would go to these lengths to be sure a customer is happy how can you not use them.
