The classic arcade is dead! Killed by the modern video game system.Mainly because nobody wanted to sit in a dingy arcade and pump quarters into a machine they easily mastered.The American arcade had is major selling points though.It was a place for teens and young adults to hang out with their friends and have a good time for cheap.We want to bring the arcade back by providing a modern arcade for our community.Gamecave plans to offer the latest and greatest in gaming technology for an affordable price,while still providing that friendly social environment that made arcades popular in the past. Company Description:

The Game Cave Arcade is a place for friends and families to come together and hang out in a fun supervised atmosphere. We plan to put a new spin on an old idea by providing the modern gaming experience with a classic arcade feel.The Ravenna area has an over abundance of teens and young adults with no form of low cost entertainment. We plan to provide them a fun and entertaining place that parents can trust that they are in a safe, supervised environment. The Game Cave plans to keep up with the latest gaming technology which can be expensive for the average gamer. Consumers spent upwards of $21 billion on game hardware and accessories in 2013. Our customers will have access to the newest games and the best gaming technology for an affordable price. We plan to capitalize on the competitive nature of modern video games by hosting cash and promotional tournaments that match players with similar skill levels based on past performances. The Game Cave Arcade also feels it is important to remember where we came from. We plan to do this by dedicating a few modern arcade cabinets to the classics such as pac-man, space invaders, donkey kong, galega (ect.)
Our target market is the average gamer. The average gamer is defined as anyone between the ages of 8 and 35 that plays video games 5 days a week for an average of 2.5 hours a day. We plan to split our target market into two demographics 13-18 and 18 and up to better achieve market share.
The Game Caves primary advantage is location.Ravenna has very few entertainment options with even fewer options for young people under the age of 21. The socialized setting of the Game Cave will be another advantage. Most gamers play via the internet but at the arcade friends can gather, hang out and play face to face. It also provides the opportunity to create new friendships. The Game Cave will also provide free high speed internet to gamers that want to compete online or just surf the web. We hope to become a benefit to the community by being a safe and trusted establishment. Finally we as the business owners are average gamers in the community so we know first hand the needs and desires of the average gamer in our community.

Products and Services:

Our primary service is our pay to play gaming. Our prices are set so that it is actually cheaper for our customers to come to our establishment and enjoy the socialized aspect then it would be for them to stay at home and play alone. We found that between the rise in your electric bill from your home consoles power draw, the price of buying new games and paying for internet with a fast enough connection to maintain online play, the average gamer spends over $188 per month. Customers can come to our establishment and play for as long as they want for only $8 a day. If the average gamer comes to our establishment to play for the same amount of time they would play at home on average it will only cost them $160. For this price they get access to the fastest internet in the area, social interaction with other gamers and access to the newest games and technology.
Second to the pay to play aspect are the tournaments held at our location. Every week we will hold a tournament with cash prizes or promotional items. Entry into these tournaments will be $10 with prizes for first, second and third place.
Next we have our specialty machines such as the motion sensor based dance and sports games as well as our racing simulation games. Due to the specialty nature of these games they will be paid by the hour. $5 buys 1 hour on any of these machines.
Lastly we offer memberships that increase your savings even more. Those who purchase our memberships will be able to play their favorite games in a fun social atmosphere for only $130 per month.


Pay to Play
For only $8 you gain access to all pay to play machines. These machines will have almost any game you could want to play in an arcade, from fighters and first person shooters to sports games and classic arcade titles, we provide it all. All pay to play machines are first come first serve. You can play all day so long as you follow all house rules.

Specialty Machines
$5 buys you 1 hour on all specialty machines. These machines include our state of the art race simulation setups and our motion tracking dance and sports games. These games are first come first serve with the option to buy more time provided that there are no other customers waiting to use the machine.

Memberships
$130 will buy you a monthly membership to our arcade. These memberships have many perks including:
Free access to all Gamecave games(excluding specialty machines), provided you follow all house rules.
No entry fee for tournaments.
Access to early tournament sign ups.
10% discount on all store merchandise
1 Free 32G flash drive for saving your game progress.

Tournaments
Tournaments will have a $10 entry fee for both cash and promotional tournaments. Tournaments will take place on a weekly basis. There will be a limited number of sign-ups for each tournament. Sign ups will open on Sunday and close 1 hour before the tournament begins or when the sign-up limit is reached.
