Description
Bring your Family to the Park for a great day of fun and relaxation. There is 4 pavilions to hold your family reunions, weddings, BBQ's, picnics, and more. There is plenty of space to fly a kite. Your children can play on the playground, swim at the pool and play ball on the diamond. There is a walking path around the park for exercise. All summer long there are many ballgames played at any of the 7 diamonds. Come on out and cheer your favorite team. Tennis Courts, basketball courts, and skate park help round out the many things there is to do.
Each year the Freeburg Homecoming is held in the park which helps The Freeburg Park District raise money to make improvements to the Park. Fishing is going to become better as the lake is being dredged and cleaned, plus we are adding a dock for special needs guests to be able to fishing too. The measurements of the walking path is, the short on is 3/10 of a mile and the long one is 8/10 of a mile.
