Description
The Department of Public Safety is staffed with a director, one lieutenant, one sergeant and five full time Public Safety Officers. Each of these full-time employees are certified as Police Officers, Firefighters, and Medical First Responders.
The department is also staffed with 12 part-paid firefighter positions. These part-time employees are on call to answer fire and medical emergencies in the City of Essexville. They are certified through the State of Michigan as Firefighters and Medical First Responders.
