NOKIDHUNGRY.ORG is an organization that helps children get the nutritious meals that they need to survive and succeed here in the USA.
Bake sales are held across the nation every year and the proceeds go directly to NKH......ALL PROCEEDS GO TO NKH. People donate their time, energy and resources to the sales and then put the hard work in raising the money and sending it in.
Our intent was to raise $500 by May 26 (her birthday) ....In just 2 weeks, Chloe and our team have raised $500.. that was our goal for the entire event!!!! So what to do now? We are still taking orders and have many orders to fill....we are having a bake sale at her school in March and for her birthday this year, she will be asking for donations to NKH in lieu of gifts for herself. In her words....."I do not need any more presents Mommy"......
We are raising our goal to $1500!!!!!! BY MAY 26!!!! EEEEKKKK!!!!
So, I am including a direct link to her fundraising site for any of our family to utilize and I am asking that you forward this to your friends as well.... Chloe is currently in 5th place in the US for fundraising through American Girl :) NKH!!!
NKH has reached out to use her story on a national level! We are looking to make a real difference this year! Please help us!
Consider us for birthday parties, office food day, just a weekend treat for your family, Bible studies, etc.....WE ARE YOUR CUPCAKE PEOPLE! WE WILL BAKE FOR YOU! We have several families that are baking with us and donating their time and talent to this cause~ they are teammates! You may see their pix on FB helping Chloe bake and decorate! We could not do this without their support!
