Description

Alamo Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) coordinates volunteer efforts for various school events and activities. PTO raises funds to support school programs, class events, parties, field trips and learning activities throughout the school year. PTO encourages and can only be successful with parent and family involvement.

How can you help and get involved in PTO?

Become a General Member- Alamo PTO General Members consist of parents/family volunteers who attend General Meetings (minimum of 3 per school year), participate at school events, fundraisers, educational programs, and serve on PTO Committees whenever available. General Members are non voting members who provide input, share ideas and concerns with the PTO Executive Board relating to PTO sponsored events.

Become a PTO Board Member- Alamo PTO Executive Board consist of members who are expected to attend both General PTO meetings as well as monthly board meetings. Executive Board Members have voting rights, propose motions, approve the budget, and participate in school events, committees, fundraisers, and educational programs sponsored by the PTO.
