This has always been one of my favorite theaters but last week I went I just had to leave a review. I used to come to this theater all of the time when I was living in Long Island and before Covid I would go to the discount Tuesdays every week. I currently live in queens and pass up on 3-4 amcs on the way to watch movies here or at Roosevelt field and last week I got confirmation that that was the right idea.
I went to see a rated r movie with my 1 year old son. It was late so the expectations was we bring a blanket and his sound proof headphones and he falls asleep and we don’t have to pay a sitter. (Like we regularly do ) However I get there and they let us know that children under 6 aren’t allowed in rated r movies after 6, even when accompanied by an adult.
I forgot her name but the girl at the front desk was so sweet in explaining that to us. Not only was she kind and compassionate and joked about watching the baby while we saw the movie. She helped us book tickets for a later show so we could drop the baby off and come back to watch the movie.
Here’s where the story gets better. We come back to the movie theater later than expected due to unforeseen circumstances and she was on break or something. Two other men were there instead and they were just ask kind we can in with about 1 min to start seeing the movie. But we wanted to still order food so they were able to switch us to another later showing and were so kind about everything!
I feel good that I drag my friends out from all over nyc (Bronx Brooklyn Yonkers queens Long Island) to come to this location 😝
I’ve had a generally positive experience at AMC Levittown. The theater is a nice place to visit, with clean bathrooms and friendly staff who contribute to a pleasant atmosphere.
However, I’ve noticed that the seats are starting to show their age, which might be something to consider for future updates. Additionally, the dining delivery service can be quite delayed, and it often feels like the delivery fee doesn’t align with the timeliness of the service.
Despite these minor issues, AMC Levittown remains an enjoyable place to catch a movie. The overall experience is positive, and the staff’s commitment to cleanliness and customer service is much appreciated.
The reclining seats are a plus when watching movies, but when your food is brought to you while watching the movie, a plus plus!! Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they didn't have any more burgers left.
Have been coming to this AMC for over a decade . Clean, staff is great , plenty of snacks , and they are cool if you want to jump and see another movie late night as long as you don’t take anyone’s seat . They also allow you to bring in pillows and blankets and they don’t bother you or want to go through your stuff . Unlimited refills on sodas and bottomless butter popcorn 🍿
They remodeled the theater, and I was pleasantly surprised as to how comfortable the reclining seats are. We ordered our tickets ahead of time, which was great. No lines but you do pay a convenience fee. This place even has a bar! Go figure!
The bathrooms weren't bad considering the swarms of people in and out. Parking can be challenging because the theater is in a strip mall where there is a BJs and LAFitness. Overall, it was a great experience.
Awesome comfortable seats. Not a fan of the tray tables but I get it. Clean, good service, amenities; especially if you're a Premium Stubbs member. So worth it! Strongly recommend!
Theatre was filthy today. No toilet paper.
And let's not talk about the 20 minutes that it took to buy popcorn. Oh, by the way the soda machines were empty. Thank Goodness Thor was hilarious.
Pretty good place but nothing like the Dine In Theater in Menlo Park, Edison NJ or W. Orange New Jersey. Here you have to order at the concession stand before entering and they bring food to you, NJ Dine Ins let you order right from your seat which makes a world of difference to me if you are really into the movie and want to order something to eat or drink.
The seats were comfortable. Don't go for that "let them deliver your food to your seat" nonsense. The food never arrived and I had to go back to the food counter to pick up my food that was sitting under a hot lamp for an hour.
The theater had free drink refills because the soda machines were in the lobby, not behind the counter.... So that's cool I guess.
Tried to see It with a group of friends from work. We had all seen the original movie and were very excited to see the new adaptation, however two of us were 14 and the rest 18 and 19. Weren't able to buy tickets because of this. I understand it is a company policy not to let anyone under 17 into an R rated movie without someone 21 or over, however we're going to wind up watching the film one way or another. These policies are outdated and are likely part of the reason why movie theaters aren't making as much money as they used to. I look forward to finding a stream of the movie so we can all watch in my living room.
Great food, great service, great seats, and a bar what's not to love!
They have the comfy recliners, but the food service is TERRIBLE. First of all, you can't order from your seat like you can at better dine-in theaters, you order at the concession stand... No big deal, but it would be nice if someone (or a sign even) told you before you sat down and became confused.
Now, here's the kicker... They had the nerve to deliver the food in cheap plastic take out containers TWO HOURS LATER. Now, we're watching a movie, so that gave us a whopping 15 minutes to enjoy our meals. So, we declined and asked for a refund... There's a TGI Fridays across the parking lot where we can get better food for less money at that point.
NO ONE APOLOGIZED at any point and they wouldn't refund the overpriced drinks that we actually didn't drink because we were waiting for our food!!! Infuriating!!!!
I won't be back and you should save yourself the trouble.
They have a bar now which isn't to bad. I gave the bartender a tip for a great Long Island Iced Tea. I'm glad I don't have to go to AMC Menlo for dine in and drinks!
Best seats available in the local theaters. Cushy couch-like seating with a raisable arm in between the pairs. Unlike other theaters though, there's no space or bump when raised, creating a seamless and comfortable couch. The only negative was the addition of the tables, which are somewhat convenient, but should've been implemented with the ability to fold away to the side, in order to not get in the way of comfort.
My go-to theater.
One of the best theaters I've been in. Great chairs, they keep it clean and sound is comfortable. Not overly load. Some of the people who come here are pigs, leaving their trash around, but I guess every town has their swine.
The theatre was having an issue with the hvac system causing it to be extremely cold. A worker came in before the movie started, apologized for the inconvenience and offered customers reimbursements for their troubles if they wanted to leave. Which I had appreciated very much! My party decided to stay anyway. As the movie ended and we began to exit there were employees by the exit handing out movie stubs for next time and apologizing for the cold. The experience from purchasing our tickets, to getting our snacks (we are amc members - definitely worth it!) To experiencing a not so pleasant situation but having it handled so well, I can honestly say AMC is officially my favorite theatre! Thank you!

There's a fire in the theatre and my family and I had to get a refund because they said they didn't know what time they would open again! 😩 I was upset but overall the theater is very well cared of. Reclinable red chairs are so comfortable. Very organized and not usually crowded.
Haven't been to a movie theater in 20 years. It was a culture shock to find comfortable self adjusting seats, pour your own drinks (huge variety) and butter and salt your own popcorn. Very clean and spacious theater with ample parking.
This is the best Movie Theater on Long Island hands down. From the great reclining chairs to how clean it is. Everything is a step above any other place I have been. I drive past at least 4 other places to get here because I know I will have a high quality movie experience
