Description

Partners are; Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC), International institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).

It is funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

PASIC project activities include: fostering improvement of the policy environment through:
-collective learning
-Investment plans
-capacity building of key stakeholders; and
-collection and use of evidence-based research.

The project works with two case studies-the rice and the Irish potato cropping systems in Eastern and South western Uganda respectively.
