Description
Akorion is an agtech company that leveragess ICT to deliver production and marketing services to farmers, and value chain digitization to agribusinesses that work with farmers.
Through our value chain digitization platform, EzyAgric, and our network of community-based agricultural service providers, village agents, we bridge the information and service delivery gap between farmers and agribusinesses.
The Information is implemented using Ezy-Agric software suite and the service delivery is implemented using the middle value chain actors called Village agents.
Akorion has so far worked in Eastern, Central, North and Western Uganda where it is profiling farmers to access agricultural loans and linkages to other players in the market. So far Akorion has developed a network of over 42,000 farmers with 20,000 farmers are accessing our different services, 8000 farmers in Busoga region have received post-harvest storage equipment, 3500 farmers in Mubende currently being trained and receiving post-harvest equipment.
