ABADAT WELFARE SOCIETY (AWS) is a right based non‐governmental, non‐profit, nonreligious registered organization based in Punjab. It was formed and registered by a group of committed young professional activists in 2004 and reactivated in 2014 under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 (XLVI of 1961) having registration number DOSW(SWL)/12 with Government of The Punjab (Pakistan). AWS is a group of dedicated & energetic young professionals, with a belief that that they are responsible to ensure a better future of the Nation. AWS aims to make Punjab a progressive, Democratic and a Peaceful place by empowering its youth, educating the communities and by promoting the democratic values. AWS opposes all forms of discrimination and respects the rights and dignity of the people, regardless of ethnic, social, religious or political differences. We believe that we have born to fight against ignorance and injustice. AWS aimed specifically towards accelerating the spread of health facilities and primary education in Pakistan. AWS has a very wide scope of activities that comprises of a comprehensive campaign for health and education improvement through medical centers, medical camps, schools and public awareness.
