After reading the reviews here, i was a bit scared of what will come, and i was surprised - of how good rhe service was. All the employees was correct, but friendly and informative about all questions we had. 15 minutes at the counter and the application was competed and payed. Nothing to complain.

Not all was good:
Applicants with half filled application forms, applicants without passport pics, applicants without copies of passport, ....
Of course this was the cause of waiting for the following applicants.
So for all applicants - just read the instructions on the vfs homepage and the homepage of the countries embassy, you wanna visit. there are the complete instructions and requirements. All bad ratings i read was caused of incomplete application and incorrect behavior, not from the agents behind rhe counter, they make a good and correct job.

Easy to find but there are A LOT of extra fees.
Locker costs 75pesos
Laptop rental at the lobby plus the printing of application form was worth 260 PESOS! A TOTAL RIP OFF! To be fair, it is a different company (One vasco) but probaby vfs has percentage with what the former is earning. So be sure to fill in the application form completely and never miss anything.

Photocopy the first page of your passport and all the pages with stamps beforehand for smoother and faster transaction with the VFS or else they will ask you to photocopy the same and when you go back to the counter, another applicant is being entertained and you have to wait the applicant to finish before you will be entertained again. Photocopy costs 5pesos per page.

They also have photobooth just in case your photo didnt meet the requirements, but I don't know how much it costs because I haven't tried it. But for sure it costs 3x the normal price.

It took me 3 hours to finish the transaction because I missed one field in the application and asked me to reprint my application form. The biometrics part is where i waited the most.

On the other hand, the staff was very nice and accommodating, at least on the counter where I submitted my papers.

You could also pick up your passport if you dont want it to be delivered to you. And that's also 320pesos less! Just let them know before you fill up the courier form. The sms and email notification has additional fee but it is not optional. It is not in the breakdown in the receipt but probably belongs to Logistics fee.

Thank you very much for all your help! Honestly, I was a bit discouraged with some of the negative reviews that I've read here before. But when I went VFS, it was smooth and staff accomodated me in a professional manner. I didn't expect that our family permit will be approved in 10 working days. I am forever grateful for all you've done to us. Keep up the good work!

When we asked for a refund they were passing us from person to person. Asked for a refund last October and now it's already December. Still no refund. Pretty sure someone has already pocketed the money! They also ask you to pay 5 GBP just to inquire.

This vfs tasheel in.manila is very robotic mind set. Security guards are not human.. not.litterally but idiots. The manager as well.. i had an appointment of my son 9am. And ftom the appointment they mention to arrive 15 minutes before the schedule. So we arrive 15 minutes before.. we paid 2000 pesos fohe lounge yet we have to wait outside for 9am to let us in to the lounge. Really? Crlfone is off bags are not allowed inside. This is for tbere security reasons.. Really? When i was in Bahrain not like this

The lady on the reception was kind enough to tell me that I need 2 passport sized pictures. Since I only bought 1, I quickly went to their photo center and paid a freaking P150 for a 6 piece copy. But Lo and behold, they actually took only 1 piece of my PP sized pic. So I went around taking pictures even if it wasn't allowedd. Haha

Other than that, it was a nice experience except for the P75.00 locker.

My sister is in the application today and we paid for premium lounge service and this is not actually helping. They haven't help her print out her application form, supporting documents and no one is assisting her. This is unacceptable, we have have paid 3000 Php for this service and didn't get that much help at all? What is this service for?
I have tried to phone there telephone number but I cannot reach it plus I called from United Kingdom.

I would suggest to everyone, that before you come to the application centre you need to PRINT all necessary documents. DO NOT wait for some assistance because they are not much help.

I am so disappointed about vfs.global for this kind of service and seems like it's not working unless you have to pay super priority service.

This is unacceptable. I really hope that the service will improved.

For Canadian Embassy,you can only pickup you passport from 3:00pm-4:00pm. Be careful with photocopy and internet service,they will charge you with really really high price. Dont bring big bags if you can during pickup, security staff will ask you to deposit it and you need to pay for it.Im not sure why this is necessary because there are certain days/times when they do not ask people to deposit their belongings. The processing time is good but the politics and business around the embassy is terrible.Some security personnel are just unprofessional.

Im really satisfied for this they do great job. and i really appreciate all hard work all people working in norwegian visa center. im so happy because i got fast respond for my application .this is bases of my own experiences and so nice stuffs..and so calm to talk .. i feel so really warm accepts to that place while im applying my visa ..

Website isn't very helpful. It doesn't tell you how much exact fees you need to pay. Phoneline is always busy. Functions like a local government office. Made applications more complicated than it was years ago.

People there makes you feel insecured. They make u look dumb that you're clueless of their system. The girl with the long hair looks at you like you're the most stupid person in the universe. Everything sucks.my visa turned up so late.

Very untrained rude staff to client specially those at UK VIP lounge. So ill-mannered specially that ugly girl with long ugly hair at the desk. They dnt like being asked many questions and they will answer you meanly and rudely. Worst customer service avoid this agency at all cost they only care about your money. Worst everything!!!

Simply the worst.

June 6 - I personally filed my visa application. Turn around is around 15 working days accordingly. I availed of sms and email notification service for tracking.
July 6 - still no feedback from them. I checked the status on their website and it says my application was still in the centre for processing. *i never received sms or email notification when i was supposed to receive one upon sending to the embassy (knew about it late already)
I kept on calling their agent for days and she is consistently telling me that it was indeed a glitch in their system and it should be fixed soon. Meanwhile, i had daily follow ups and they're telling me that my passport is still in the embassy pending release. *i fear that my passport never left our country for processing after a month!
July 14 - i decided to visit the office to personally raise the concern. But still, no change in the website status but they assured to me that my passport was indeed sent to the embassy on june 6. On the same day, I informed my employer about the status, which then prompted her to check with the embassy
July 17 - embassy replied and told us that visa was already released and sent to PH way back JUNE 19
July 18 - i called the agent and according to her, my passport is still in the embassy (seriously?!). I then told her about the email from the embassy. She then checked if it was actually received. Afterwards she confirmed it, ready for pickup.

Bottom line: Poor system, lack of proper monitoring. Never enjoyed the sms and email service as well as online tracking service btw.

Hope you won't suffer the same fate i had with them. Wasted a month.

The security and fighting while i was here 06/14/2017 @ 8:50hrs. Talking loud to his manager. Security let me stand on the other end 1 meter away from i was standing and said it was illegal so i asked so standing 1 meter away is legal? You should change your security agency. It is the worst.

Here is my personal experience with VFS. If you arrive earlier than 7AM, there is no need to fall in line (both ground floor and 2nd floor offices). They will segregate the people according to country the applicants are applying to. They let people in fast. The guard informs the people what to do and not. I had a great time to be honest so I dont really know what happened to others here. But to be fair, I will state here the areas that need to be improved in VFS. Dont bring your laptop, bag, etc. ONLY BRING YOUR PAPERS. Thats it or else you will have to pay for locker which will cost you 75 Pesos. BE WELL-INFORMED AND BE TOTALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE on what visa you are applying to. BE COMPLETE. HAVE NO ROOM FOR MISTAKE. If you forget anything like printing this and that, computer rental and printing in VFS will cost you more! Computer rental is 120 PESOS (for first 30mins) and printing costs you 20 PESOS. Thats 140 PESOS for a 1-paged document in 30 minutes. The assessors are well educated although I have seen 1 staff who was almost impatient and mildly shouting at old man cause he was not able to hear her. What I am more concerned is their data security in computer rental section cause unfortunately I needed to rent CAUSE PHONE IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE VFS. Clients' VISA PDF files are there in the computer you are renting. I have seen less than 20 files there waiting to be opened by someone nasty. They don't even clear the browser cache or data so whenever you enter your username in any field requested, you will see others' usernames entered before. I wish other who used the computer did not save the password cause browser asks it if you want to. VFS needs to also train their staff to be professional at all times. I was there in the computer rental section and their staff were talking about non-sense "chismis" and it felt like I'm just really renting computer in computer rentals (haha) like the noise. But the guards and others I find them professional and accommodating really. The computer rental section staff they need to be informed again that they need to show and act professionalism cause they are the first layer of countries' embassy visa procesing.

Very disappointed. the number is not reachable to contract. I never seen they are so busy. why the simple documents took for week before they release. They collected money for a single txt message cost of 250 what a service.

Very poor service, untrained staff, providing misleading information, not worth the money they charge for the processing fee. and they rip off taking money for bags deposit, 20peso per photocopy. lousy company with most incompetent people. Just a money making racket.
