  A fantastic hotel located on mactan. They have their own beach which is lovely, the in house restaurant is very good as well.

  My wife-to-be and I stayed a night at the Mövenpick for our prenuptial photo session. It's also the venue for our wedding later this year.
  Overall the hotel is great, it lives by its tradition to be Swiss and comes with a friendly Filipino staff. What I loved most is the simplicity of style and in my opinion it makes it look very clean.
  There is nothing major I have to complain about, but there are however some little details that do need attention. Let's not forget, this being a Swiss hotel, every small detail counts and bring Swiss myself, I know.
  
  First thing I noticed is the lotion bottle in the bathroom which has not been replaced with a new bottle. It was half empty, or half full whichever way you like it.
  The hair blower didn't come with an adapter plug (UK plug) and I couldn't find a suitable outlet plug anywhere in the room.
  The bathroom itself looks dated and shows some wear. I think it's the same bathroom since when it was still the Hilton.
  The breakfast, which came with a lot of variety tasted a little bland and is nothing to rave about, except for the bacon.
  
  As I said, nothing major at all. I specially would like to thank the staff for the free upgrade and the exceptional friendly service! This hotel remains highly recommend.

  Using the resort beach and restaurants frequently, we can only recommend this place. Beautiful, kind and hospitable staff compliment a wonderful scenery and landscape.

  Stayed at this hotel while I was traveling for business in Cebu. I don’t even know where to start my commendation for every single person at this hotel. The moment we stepped out of the cab, we were greeted by a surprisingly pleasant security guard. The interiors of the entire hotel is very calming to the senses as majority of the walls and furniture are white with turquoise, blue and green accents all over. The furniture initially looked tall and incommodious, but when I sat on it, it was surprisingly comfortable. The check in process was was quick and smooth. Every single person standing by the doorway of the entrance, to the ladies in the lobby and the front desk all had their own share of small pleasantries to say. A lady then ushered us to our room and began initiating small talk while in the lift. The room was spacious, and very clean. It was well lit with a good number of wall sockets. The wifi was surprisingly strong and we had no trouble going online.
  
  We had our first experience of the hotel's service at dinner time, We dined at Club Ibiza. The food was literally over flowing as the chefs personally bring your choices to your table. The upbeat lounge music was suited for the ambiance, not to mention a Spanish dance show at around 8 or 9pm. All waiters and waitresses were very attentive to our needs. We had no issues with the food, All of our requests were done seamlessly, without any fuss. Amazing. I have never dined at a restaurant where their staff were as efficient.
  
  I am pleased at our stay at this hotel. Very pleased that this is the only hotel I am writing a review for. Two thumbs up!
