  KlI’ve never really been the type of person who takes exception to things, but today I feel compelled to make comment. You can take from it what you will. Earlier today, I visited the Hotel Annapurna with my partner and another young guest. We have on many occasions, visited this establishment and enjoyed their fare; especially their coffee and delicious selection of cakes. This time however, it was very busy. We made our usual order, and went to sit in our usual area. We were however, directed to sit in another area of the café, because there was no room where we usually dine. We didn’t mind this at all, until about an hour later, when we got the bill. Exactly the same order, with exactly the same coffee and cake as we’ve have had innumerable times was more almost one third more in price! Why? Well, simply because we sat in a different area. Not because this was our choice, but because there was no other choice. What would normally be 185 NPR, was charged as 300 NPR. Perhaps this does not seem strange to some, or even unfair… but is it right or fair to charge extra, simply to eat the same food sitting in a different part of a motel? Some may disagree, but for me, I think not. Particularly so, because it was not our choice, and the coffee, cake, service and even the seats were EXACTLY the same. We didn't even get served anymore quickly, politely or have a better view! Hotel Annapurna were paid their due amount, but neither myself nor my partner will not darken their doors again. Nor will we be taking our local and international wedding guests there to stay, dine, or even have coffee and cake. It is not the money, but rather the principle involved. If this is to be the method of business that Hotel Annapurna would choose to follow, then perhaps they could at least warn their patrons of the process. They didn’t, so I thought I would help them out. I feel it’s the least I can do. This, and to wish them well.

  Excellent food. I ordered the grilled chicken burger and the filet steak. They both were delicious. The servers and other staff members were talkative and informative. Definitely would go again.
