    Awful front desk experience

I was in search of a good dermatologist and came across Dr. Sudeshna Shrestha. My consultation with her was excellent, and I had decided that she would be my go-to dermatologist for all my family's skin concerns and advanced treatments. However, my experience was ruined by the front desk staff.

The issue began with a staff member at the front desk of the Dermatology room at Siddhi Poly Clinic, a lady with glasses. When I tried to change my Hydra Facial Ultra appointment to a regular Hydra Facial, she refused, claiming that the treatment had already been prepped and could not be changed. Despite not having paid for the treatment yet, she insisted that it would be a waste of products to switch.

I reluctantly paid for the treatment to avoid wasting any products, only to discover later that no significant preparation is needed for the treatment. I realized that the receptionist had lied to secure the booking. I confirmed with my skin therapist that I could have changed the treatment as long as the bill had not been settled.

I expressed my disappointment to the therapist, who apologized, but the damage was done. Despite everything I enjoyed my facial, the therapist is a pro at her job.
However, due to the poor customer service and the misleading information from the front desk, I have decided not to visit Dr. Sudeshna Shrestha's clinic again and will not recommend it to my family and friends.

The issue here is not about the money but the blatant dishonesty from the front desk staff. Dr. Shrestha has lost a potential regular client who invests significantly in skincare. I hope the staff realizes the impact of such behavior and the loss it can cause to the clinic.

I enquired via Instagram asking about visiting and got call from the clinic immediately, booked a consultation for the next day. When visited the clinic, received warm welcome from the registration desk. From registration to the consultation time was shorter than expected. Dr. Sudeshna was so sweet and cleared my concerns very patiently and professionally. I was so happy to know that I could get my hydrafacial done instantly, did not have to wait for next available slot. Ashmita sister who did my procedure also explained each step and she was very conscious about me being uncomfortable which I was not. The procedure room has a very calm environment with soothing lofi music. The 50mins session was very relaxing.
Overall very pleasing first experience here, visiting again very soon.💜

Visit to skin department at Siddhi polyclinic was excellent experience for me. Had gone for Hydrafacial, under the guidence of Dr Sudeshna Shrestha herself, the procedure went smooth with use of latest techonolgy and skincare products. Overall I am satisfied with the service and the ambience.

This place has very good system for checking pcr and also has a good pharmacy. However, it is too crowded at times and during this pandemic I think we should avoid big crowds. Social distancing is not possible here.

They have one of the best facilities (though a little pricey on some headings) but no one can bargain with their health. Service is good and prompt.

One of the best pathological lab in Kathmandu . This is old lab serving more than 20 years. Lab has good technicians and modern equipments. There is also clinical facility and doctors of various speciality are available for check up. This is not so expensive and is affordable for middle class. They need to arrange more chairs for waiting patients.

They are not time conscious. I confirmed about my report on Sunday afternoon but it was still not completed on Monday. I had to come to Kathmandu from Butwal. Think about how much problem I faced with this irresponsible manner.

Bad experience and wasted my money due to their faulty result........In January 10, 2016, I went to check up my eye power to Dr. D. B. Karki (appointment fee NRs 500), without much bilateral conversation to me (patient), he just ask me to read the alphabet for power check and recommend to change the glass. I was is Christmas holiday so decided to buy pair of frame before returning USA which costing me NRs 5500. After coming here when I tried the new glass, my first day was horrible with severe headache and same did happen when I change the other glass I brought as per Dr. D. B. Karki prescription. Then I had to take a day off from work for eye checkup, the doctor said the glass I was wearing as prescribed by Dr. D. B. Karki was too much off power and asked to discard immediately. Then I realized that I am in problem due to prescription by Dr. D. B. Karki. Later changing my glass as per new checkup solve the headache and vision problem. I don’t know if I can file a lawsuit for my loss (both mental and monetary cost). I can come with evidence of the prescription provided by Dr. D. B. Karki, his prescription doesn't match with either of my previous and later eye vison report, instead the eye power prescribed before and later than Dr. D. B. Karki match, which means his machine or method of eye checkup might be broken giving wrong result. In this case, does the Siddhi Ploy Clinic hospital has any responsible of such consequence and trouble to patients.

Persons at reception are rude, feel uncomfortable to give answers. Visitors are called 1 or more hour before the test or consultation with doctors. In each visit I need to spent at least two hours. My recommendation to the management is to rethink about the staffs at reception, to add more human resource and provide the right information regarding doctor's and test time.

The test results are accurate. I have never found any discrepancies with the results. The system is online and thus one can easily download one's test result from the website.

The cost is somewhat higher than other medical institutes but that could be justified with the standard it maintain and it's brand establishment.
