Its great place for a quick get away from valley, filled with beautiful landscapes and very welcoming people. The chaos around the temple in weekends is so fun(sometimes dramatic too) to watch. However sometimes unmanaged crowd during peak seasons has polluted this historical monument which matter of fact should be focused as soon as possible by the management team.

Famous hindu temple of goddess Bhagawati Panchkhal, Kavrepalanchok nearly about 56 KM far from Kathmandu. It is believed that the temple was constructed in the era of king Mandev. You can see panoramic view of Himalayan and countryside landscapes from here. If you want to go by public transportation, you have to catch bus at old bus park of Kathmandu which will take about 3 to 4 hour.

After crossing Pachkhal valley, visitor have to up hill toward Kharelthok from Araniko highway, Lamidanda. After 45 minutes up hill drive you will arrive at the temple which is located on the top of hill.

The goddess Palanchok Bhagawati temple has three entrances you can choose any gate to get in. On Saturday there will be much crowded as the pilgrims from Kathmandu and other place go to the temple to offer a rite.

Some devotees offer animal sacrifice for the goddess that happens nearby temple premise. Hundreds of flowers and offering sellers may vendor around the temple.

The views nearby temple are so amazing including exhilarating hills, landscapes and Gaurishanker mountain range.
