Well, okhaldhunga is my ancestral home that's why I love this place and also this place is like a lotus flower between a pond. You gotta cross a humongous mountains and ranges to reach there. Well to know how you feel being there, I must say you need to visit that place yourself. Happy Journey in Advance. 😄

Okhaldhunga District (Nepali: ओखलढुङ्गा जिल्ला ), a part of Province No. 1, is one of the seventy-five districtsof Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Okhaldhunga as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,074.5 km² and had a population of 156,702 in 2001 and 147,984 in 2011. Okhaldhunga is part of area traditionally called Wallo Kirat (near Kirat), home to indigenous ethnic groups Rai and Sunuwar सुनुवार. Apart from these indigenous ethnic groups, other ethnics and hill castes live in the district.

Beautiful atmosphere, greenaries all around. But city does not have a town planning, proper drainage and waste management system. Whereas pitch road is only attached with highways, that passes through ramailo dada to Solukhumbu district.
Okhaldhunga Bazar Tundikhel lies above Distrect Administration office and below Nepal Army Office.
Go for a walk. On the way you will see the real 'Okhaldhunga' the big stone.
