The soups and sandwiches are delicious! The menu includes a wide selection of Asian, European and American foods, and the service is outstanding. This place is located in a very colorful part of Thamel that is closed off to non-delivery cars and trucks, so search for it on your mapping app before setting out. You will be well rewarded for making the effort.

It is a nice place and certain amount of their sales goes for social cause. I like coming to work here with my team members. It is peaceful and standard enough to have meetings or business talks XD

I keep finding myself back at this place. Everything they serve is spot on. Great service and amazing food. All profits go to supporting rural communities in Nepal.

I prefer the place as a fabulous venue for any kind of indoor events and seminar with quality services. Situated at center of tourist destination Tamel. Parking seems lil complicated due to no vehicle route. VGA Projector , white board, better internet is available for meetup and seminar

Good food, good value, great mission. Truly inspiring and amazing story and achievement behind 20+ years of non-profit work. This organization has effected so many lives by working in over 150 villages. From tiny school libraries, clinics, farms to bringing internet to remote villages. If there were more organizations, world would be a far better place. Keep it up guys!

Appreciate all the hard work Mahabir Dai has done for the schools and communities of remote areas. Talking about the place, it serves good food with great service. The time and money spent here's Worth it...

Nepal connection is a non-profit-making restaurant. All its profit goes to support rural community schools and clinics.

For a non-profit restaurant, the prices are quite cheap. The food is pretty good and the service friendly and welcoming.

Do yourself and the local community a favour, and give it a try ;)

The cafe is located at prime location of Thamel, Mandala street. Wonderful organic coffee flavor and fast interest speed make this cafe much wonderful. The atmosphere around cafe is so amazing with various gifts shops, tour operators and restaurants.

Eat at this tiny, lovely restaurant which is a bit hard to find but definitely worth every penny. And on top of the amazing food and service, you're supporting the local community such as schools. So go here and be careful not to order too much momo 😂

Mahabir Pun runs these cafe where all profits go to rural internet connections. The Nepalese food is good, Dal Bhat, momos and paratha. The sandwich is a little expensive and the coffee machine needs repairing. The internet is great and there's no service or VAT charged here.
