GPO is run by the government. So the management seems to be poor. And the service is slower if you compare it to the other private courier service providers.

The service is horrendous, absolutely garbage, you have to personally collect from the office and they won't send the mail to your designated address. It takes more than a month to get a call from the post office after the mail had arrived, worst of all, everyone works very very very slow. The place is unorganised, messy as hell, 100%, I will never use their service again. Very disgraceful to the Nepalese, thought I'd never say this..

This office is lies near the Sundhara, near Sahid gate and it is well situated in good status. Building is amazing, very clean everywhere. Security system is convenient
Very good service. All the staffs are very good, what a hospitality. All are very polite and service extremely quick.
This post office box is very reliable for transfer like governmental, personal, private letters and other postal service.
There is no crowd, and all the staffs were busy in the official work. One of the very good example of office which should be in reality.
well managed working environment, well managed computers. Well managed working staffs. One of the most important thing is that it gives service from 10 to 5 O'clock.

Government Postal service provider of Nepal. Provide international and domestic courier, mail service. Very cheap compare to other private courier service provider. Provide Post Box locker for you mails and documents, from where you can collect it. But need a lot of improvement in service.

Very friendly staff. We had to ship a small parcel to Canada and within 30 mins, it was good to go! I would recommend doing business with them instead of the big guys (Fedex, DHL, etc.) if you're looking for cheap rates.

Terrible disgraceful a wast of time effort and money.
The post letter box at main entry Bouddhnath has not been checked and emptied for mail collection for six weeks. .
It clearly states mail cleared between 10.30am and 11.30am daily!!!!!!. What rubbish and lying.
It is difficult enough to even purchase stamps then have this disgracefull lack of service anyway it just adds up to the shambolic infrastructure generally just cast your eyes to the primitive track for transport laughably marked as a road.
