Akala temple is located in Gorkha district, Gorkha Municipality, Ward no-14, Gopling, Deurali. It is a famous temple among the locality. Most of the people from Gorkha, Tanahun, Lamjung, Kaski, Chitwan and Kathmandu visited frequently to worship gaddess Akala Devi. You can travel 130 km from Kathmandu by vehicles. Marshyangdi Hydropower Project is located near about there, water dam of Marshyangdi river forms a big lake on which boat can sailed and different panoramic seen of nature can be seen. It is located in the bank of Marshyangdi river at the border of Tanahun and Gorkha district. It is a ancient cultural sites and you can visit Kanya Devi temple, Budhi Koti temple, Gorkha Kalika, Palace of Prithivi Narayan Shah, Gorkha museum, Manakamana temple, Chimkeshwori temple, Chabdi Barahai temple, Bandipur, Siddha Gupha near by Akala temple.
