The Institute of Professional Sociologists Nigeria (IPSN) was established under the company and Allied Matters Acts, CAP 20LFM 2004. The IPSNigeria was founded to protect and preserve members interest within or outside Nigeria and to unify sociologists in Nigeria, by eradicating discrimination on the bases of Alma Mata thereby providing equal opportunities for all sociologists in every sector of the Nigerian Economy.
