  The lady at reception should not be dealing with customers. I am sure that she is a very efficient supervisor but she lacks any warmth or friendliness.

  Oh my lanta where do I begin. Let me tell you guys a story. We came to the yacht club in search of food after about 34 minutes of waiting, in an empty restaurant I might add, someone finally helped us and took our coffee order. The waiter messed up the order and brought everyone cappuccinos instead of the lattes we ordered. The burgers we ordered gave us food poisoning and we waited nearly 2 hours for them. Food poisoning. I was projectile vomiting for an hour on end. Do not eat here, it's dangerous and gross.

  The Walvis Bay yacht club restaurant has a large indoor area fitting for conferences as well as a bar area and outdoor seating with a stairway to the beach.
  
  The service is timely, but the lack of uniforms for the waiters makesbit feel unprofessional.
  
  The food is good, not great. Also not terrible, but terribly overpriced.
  
  Granted, it does have a spectacular view of the sunset!

  Walvis Bay Yacht Club is under new management and the food and service have improved tremendously. I visit as a guest only.

  Have experienced a perfect sunset.
  Each and every year I travel to the other side of the planet. As Austrian winter is cold and dark.
  In January 2014 I toured around at Walvis Bay.
  Enjoyed the living community and friendly people.
