Good but as most NWR resorts not really good enough
Beautiful scenery, lovely service
The swimming pool was well maintained. The service friendly. I enjoyed myself
We visited Popa Falls Resort for the day, had a few drinks at the bar overlooking a wonderful view, it was incredibly beautiful.
We wanted to eat lunch at the Restaurant and this is where I was disappointed, they have a beautiful menu and you open it and there is one paper with the following options: Toast with ham and cheese
Sirloin with a few veggies, spaghetti and a pepper sauce
Fish ( can't remember what fish or with what it was served.)
Apple pie or Strawberry Ice Cream for dessert.
Firstly, I am so happy I didn't order the fish, because I most likely would've ended up sick.
So the 5 of us ordered the most obvious, the sirloin steak.
I am so disappointed that I didn't take photos of the food, because all 5 of our steak were completely raw, not eatable at all and not to mention the bad quality of the meat.
None of us finished our food, in-fact i rather gave mine to the cat that lives there.
A beautiful resort, but take your own food with, you will cook better than the chef.
Peaceful and the sound of running/falling water.
This is a unforgetable place. If you was wast there yet it is a mistake. It is worth to spent a day in your life your will never forget in your lif
Service excellent poppafalls in very good condition will visit again
It's a quat and clean place to be mostly with you loved one
Its an NWR resort and you expect NWR service....but wow. Service is great there is a solution should a problem come up. The rooms are by far the best i have seen in Namibia and as a guide i have bedded quite a few. Infact compared to the Big Etosha or Sossusvlei gang I Poppa Falls lodge is a head above. Its a place you need to visit stay and enjoy the view. Apart from the infrastructure take a walk around... the bird life here is superb... even those rare snake eagles with their bands make a turn here, perhaps for the tranquillity. Hmmm.......
Very beautiful and peaceful environment. The conference facility is also well equipped.
There is no actual falls here but just a river. Rooms are really nice but staff and service are way below what you usually find in Namibia.
It is so beautiful this place that you need to see it. Excellent service
It s a relaxing and more of nature
Very nice setting and location near the river. Great rapids in the river. Nice deck bar on the river.
Such a peaceful place in a green paradise close to the river. The Popa Falls itself is not very interesting (not really falls!), but we didn't regret staying at this lodge anyways. Nice service, amazing bedrooms, great food!
