Zelrine Verdoes has been dancing from a very young age and experimented with tap, modern, contemporary and Irish dancing. But ballet, her big love, required the most time and dedication.

She successfully completed the Advanced 2 Dancer’s Examination in the Cecchetti Method and received the internationally accredited Cecchetti Classical Ballet Associate qualification in 2005.

She has been privileged enough to be instructed by some of the best ballet trainers in South Africa and abroad during various Summer – and Winter Schools.

While completing her studies in BA Sport Science and Psychology at Stellenbosch University, she received her Pilates trainer qualification.

In 2014, Zelrine took over the National Ballet School from Jenny Schuster and now has many students of her own.
