  i was very suprised when oshiwambo speaker would never speak to you in English.
  
  i went to pay my permit while on my way to Halali to overnight. i entered the reception and started asking for directions to Onkoshi camp where i have another booking on the 24-26 March. the guy assisted me well. there was a lady her name is L Shikokola (name written on reciept) she assisted me with anger saying why do i have to speak english when i can speak oshiwambo, what type of manners is that? cant she kindly ask me to be assisted in the language shes comfortable with? she said alot about me telling the guy, i couldnt listen since i dont want problems with her.
  
  please assist us in the language we are comfortable with, not because you want us to do so. in fact be polite. i feel like cancelling my booking at Onkoshi probably i wont i wont enjoy my stay like i was feeling disturbed at Onamutoni.
