As black hair is being re-discovered and fully embraced by society, Inekela aims to be a driving force in empowering Black women with their hair by providing access to natural products and hair tools that are black hair friendly, as well as being informative.

Inekela aims to achieve empowerment by educating Black women to differentiate the facts from opinions about black hair, as we believe that black hair isn't being fully embraced because most hair opinions are disguised as facts in society.

By taking a black hair factual approach, Inekela aims to surface the basic cracks around black hair care and make the everyday woman's hair journey entirely enjoyable. Embracing the wonders and the challenges of black hair and not confusing the challenges with "bad hair". All hair types are beautiful, each unique with it's strengths and weaknesses. Black hair is no exception to this rule.

We believe the key to driving this movement lies in nature, in both the form of products and the nature of black hair in its scientific form. Nature has all the answers, so we trust in what it provides and believe that this is a key leverage in making hair journeys enjoyable. Whether your relaxed or natural, all hair is the same beneath the scalp and that is where the cycle of hair growth begins.
