Feeling proud of what our customers achieve...
One of our customers (a well-known designer) made his first 3D printed item this weekend and it's looking great.
Most beginners struggle a bit to get their first machine well calibrated and usually have to start with 3D printing simple items. But, with training before getting started, our customers really hit the ground running....

It's wonderful to see so many incredible teachers adopt emerging tech in their classrooms.
The image features an educator receiving training, on the 3D printer that she bought for her pre-school (ABC Learning Academy)
We can't begin to imagine all the amazing ways she will be using the technology and we are proud to be part of this journey.

See MoreGreat training session at GadgetBoy 3D Solutions... so excited about all the talented people who are buying their own 3D printers. We can't wait to see what everyone will be creating. Soon we will have a huge community and can organise lots of 3D Printing Namibia gatherings...
GadgetBoy 3D Solutions started 3 years ago, with one of our goals being to promote the use of 3D printing technology, specifically in the education sector. One of GadgetBoy3D's focus divisions, #EdTech3D, was established with the vision of having 3D printers in every school in Namibia.
In March of this year, we delivered our first #3dprinter to a public school in Namibia, M&K Gertze Secondary School. We met with the Principal as well as teachers for subjects like Biology, Mot...or Mechanics, Geography & Design&Technology. The teachers received one-on-one training and information about all the possible applications in their classrooms. We believe that this empowers teachers to take the information to their learners and to feel confident in using 3D printers in their classrooms...
The machine, a Flashforge Dreamer, was purchased by retired Biology and Life Sciences teacher, Mr Ockhuizen and his wife. They were fascinated by the possibilities of having this technology available in classrooms and therefore sponsored the school of their choice. Mr Johan Ockhuizen and Mrs Juanita Ockhuizen, the founders of OckzSola want to promote the use of green technology in Namibia and they believe that using 3D Printing technology in classrooms aligns with their goals.
We are excited about our follow-up visit and to see how the school has been using their machine.
