Description

Pam is a well-known mentor, trainer and business woman in the Swakopmund area. She has extensive experience in organisational development and her creative and functional training techniques have had a positive outcome for various tourism, retail and health businesses. Her passion lies in promoting practical holism and management skills to facilitate a conducive environment for people to flourish and meet their organizational needs.

The blending of training with business needs has created an opportunity for Pam to start a training foundation. This exciting venture will provide business sponsors the opportunity to invest in workplace readiness training - benefiting both the individual and business community at large. Pam also intends to use this as the basis for a doctoral thesis (PhD in business administration).

As previous chairperson of the Swakopmund Branch of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce, her contribution to ensure the continuity and growth of the branch was recognised when she received the Chairperson’s Award in September 2015.

Having worked in Namibia, South Africa and UK , her international experience in industries such as health, hospitality and retail management is well supported with a sound academic foundation – Pam has an MBA, is a registered nurse and midwife, an occupational health nursing practitioner. She has completed various safety and training certificates as well as being a qualified vocational training professional. Combining her experience, knowledge and education, Pam has developed a unique and effective style of training and development of today’s youth.

Pam is an avid reader, loves animals, is a toastmaster and she enjoys socialising, especially in the outdoors. She also translates her varied interests into an engaging weekly radio show.
