Jonah Julius Msaula

I am Yonah, a descendant of the Anyanja Tribe originally from the Saharan Region of Africa. Our tribe travelled across Africa and settled in various places during their migration to what are know now as Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi.

Through his tireless work, effort and passion a local resident and revered intellect Dr Jonathan Sajiwandani has managed to piece together centuries of oral accounts and factual documents in his latest book; Tracing The History of The Anyanja People (From Their Ancestry to 1971).

This book ties together years of lost knowledge about the true origins of early mankind, the first inhabitants of the sub saharan region of Africa and the events of more modern history.

This story gives a complete picture of historical events from the African point of view, and touches upon some of the harrowing and difficult times that the indigenous people faced and survived.
