Such a beautiful spot to holiday in. All the necessities are taken care of. Clean and comfortable. On arrival we experienced a spot of bother due to one of the older apartments not being really suitable for my elderly Mum. Staff arranged for us to look at other apartments which might suit. We chose the best, almost new apartment. We were very lucky as Bayview are extremely popular and were booked out. We stayed there for sentimental reasons but were not disappointed. We booked tours from there as well and thoroughly enjoyed that. Bayview have quite a few locations and have a restaurant as well. I can highly recommend this as an extremely good location to holiday. You won't be disappointed. When visiting Malta again in the future I will certainly consider staying there again. It is directly across the road from a bus stop so very handy for that reason. Thank you, Bayview for making our stay both pleasant and enjoyable.

Just got back to UK after a fabulous, mostly sunny, week in Malta at The Bayview Hotel. We upgraded to a Seaview room with a balcony and could not have been more delighted with the "room with a view". It was fantastic and cleaned every day by the very helpful Roxanna. We opted for breakfast only - which was very popular with the guests - cooked breakfasts or continental breakfasts were abundantly available. Malta is a wonderful place to visit with many historical sites and many beautiful restaurants. I would definitely come back again - not just to Malta but also to the Bayview Hotel!

I was with a party of 11 on a cricket tour. The room didn't have much natural light but it didn't bother me or my roommates. The bed was too bad but being November could have done with more blankets . The staff were helpful and friendly. I did not eat there but understand the food was fine. Don't use their taxi service as it is expensive. Plenty to do nearby .

We stayed at their sister-hotel ST Bluebay, in an apartment close by. It was 90 m2 with 6 beds. Not enough cutlery for 6, only 2 teacups, the pots and pans was very scratch - but the personel were very nice and helped us out. The cupbord smelled of stinky sneakers and one of the showers of dampness. But all in all it was well worth the money we paid and the Bayview itself is a definite winner! The topfloor pool-area is wonderful. And they treated us and helped us out just as if we had stayed there!

Nice hotel n value for money. Centrally located for buses n restaurants. You can easily walk to shopping precinct in Sliema or to Tigne Point for the mall. We stayed half board and the breakfast n dinners were quite nice. Staff in the restaurant were friendly n helpful. Not all rooms come with kettles and mini kitchen area so do check when booking

My first holiday alone and found the hotel to be fab. My only complaint was the screaching of the lift outside my bedroom door, room 701! Everytime someone used it it screached. Became a bit of an annoyance. "Oil your lift" Bayview please before my next visit in March. Many thanks, Julie :) Apart from this I couldn't fault the hotel.

Just spent one week in the hotel. We booked a land view balcony as the pool had the harbour view. The land view was of three other balconies all huddled together. We could only see sky if you looked up. Very disappointing. The only good things about the hotel was the new mattresses and there was 14 coat hangers. All very basic otherwise. Area was not particularly nice but walk a few minutes to the left for the nicer part of Sliema. And a little further around the harbour is a massive shopping centre and through the bar area you come to the other side and it's amazing. Everyone far too laid back with a couldn't care less attitude. We could of eaten all week for free!. Would I recommend the hotel.....NO. Would I recommend Sliema.... yes but pay for a posher hotel in a nicer part.

Giving this hotel a 3star at most...
1. We booked the hotel as a self catering option, we only had 2 hobs and a microwave, no cooker!
2. Stepped through the door of the hotel room and the aircon didn't work - we had to wait 2+hours for maintenance to come
3. Tried phoning reception, the manual told us to ring '000" rang the number, they answered the phone then immediately hung up, I then tried again, before I said anything to them they told me "ring this number" that was it.
4. The last night we stayed - we had flights early the next day, we wanted an early night, it was approaching 10:30/11:00pm, next thing we hear was slamming doors, shouting, screaming, I had to tell these children to be quiet, to which they didn't understand me! I then had to phone reception 3 times! I spoke to a rude gentleman who couldn't care less..
I phoned him up, I told him the issue, he replied to me as "the children have just checked in, let them settle in in their own time" at this point I was angry! I replied no! We have flights in the morning, we need to sleep, we need the noise level gone, sort this out now! The chap seemed to have done his job...just about.

Disappointed we couldn't use sun deck or outdoor pool due to maintenance work and indoor pool not heated. Hence no swimming for 2 weeks. Shocked to be asked for €100 euro deposit or credit card details on arrival, no warning about this. Wi-fi very expensive. No soft fried eggs, only one sweet to choose from or ice cream at dinner.

A nice basic hotel, has everything you need and it's good and clean, and at a reasonable price. Sea view room is worth the extra. Sun deck and pools on the roof are good. Not really impressed with the breakfast, even for continental style it's fairly bare. €6 will get you a good full English/Irish style breakfast in any of the many good restaurants along the Strand.

I would not recommend this hotel, it's terrible. Miserable, unhelpful staff & dirty rooms. Very noise on the road & woken every morning by cleaners in the corridor at 7am. Breakfast is mayhem & more like butlins. The only good thing is the location!
