Description
Hi everyone, my name is Iain Stanley. I'm from Sydney, Australia originally but for the best part of the last 20 years I've been travelling the world and taking in its wonders.
As well as working at university as an Associate Professor, I also earn online and write about it at https://livingtherightway.com
My home is now a beautiful seaside hamlet in far SW Japan. It's called Miyazaki. Why do I live here? Because it's quiet, the people are friendly, the air is fresh and, most importantly, I can pursue my two great passions in life - surfing and photography.
The natural scenery here and the gorgeous coastal stretches allow me to wander all over the place with a camera in my hand and a surfboard under my arm. If I'm not out shooting the rivers, waterfalls, mountains or seaside beauty, then I'm paddling around catching waves on my shortboards, longboards and single fins.
It's a great life, and I'm surrounded by great people.
But I'm also smart with my time and my skills. I like using social media like FB and Instagram to grow my online presence and my photography business.
In turn, I love teaching and helping others learn how they can be more effective in how they present themselves online, especially through Instagram and blogging.
I like to write about photography, marketing, small business ideas, blogging, and using social media more effectively to help small businesses flourish.
