Description
The Japanese art of Aikido focuses on blending with an opponent, redirecting momentum and neutralising an attack. Termination of the techniques take three forms: throwing, joint locking, or striking in the case of weapons (jo, bokken, tanto). This notion of blending, rather than direct confrontation and reliance on strength, creates an art that can be practiced by all, regardless of age and/or gender.
The Aikido Dojo aims to spread the practice of aikido in Jordan. Practitioners and newcomers are welcome at any time.
