  We have been 5 times in the last 7 years. Needless to say we love his place. Cottages are cute. Staff are wonderful and help with anything. Just have to ask. Tons of plants, trees, and shade and sun at the beach.
  Calvin, Ms. G, Ryan, & Bavra are the best!
  24 hour security staff around just in case. Have never seen or heard of an incident.

  Very friendly staff. My boyfriend loved Rosie's massage. Pristine beach with very clear water. Free-to-use floats. Food menu limited. A great place to spend a day.

  All of my expectations were exceeded !! This is truly a quaint, peaceful and relaxing place. The staff are extremely attentive. The food is prepared there fresh everyday and was wonderful. The owner, Calvin arranged a driver (Genius) to pick us up from the airport. The next few days he took us anywhere we wanted to go and showed us the true Jamaica. You really felt like part of a family. We moved to Sandals the last few days of our stay. It was nice but knowing what I know now I would have spent our entire vacation at Whistling Bird. It is what I consider the Real Jamaica !

  Nestled in the jungle tropics is the Whistling Bird Resort Paradise! We enjoyed tiny living in a concrete yurt styled lodging then upgraded to The Doctor Bird suit which was heaven! The beach was flawless and just steps away. The staff are outstanding! Bavra greets you with a smile each morning and can accommodate any requests with grace and professionalism. Ms.G is the Auntie you've been missing ♡ and will keep your cup full. The General makes sure you're safe on the beach and Calvin is a wonderful owner and great host. Bring insect repent and have a great time. Food is fantastic! Rosie will massage all worries away! WE will be back to Whistling Bird!

  Genuine Jamaica! Whistling Bird is the most relaxing place to be in Jamaica, right on the beautiful white sand beach, and just a handful of private cottages, all unique design! Fantastic staff and you can do your own thing or they will wait on you hand-and-foot! Great little beach front bar, dining there on the beach as well, and couples, singles or families all welcome to have a great time in the lush tropical setting, private parking, 24 hour security and the list goes on and on! This is like staying with a family in Jamaica, rather than at just a hotel in Jamaica :-)

  This place is like staying with family you love on the most beautiful beach! The owner, which is a family run business for 30+ years, treats you like you are the only person there and makes you feel welcome from the heart. Most of the staff has been there for years. Ms. G has been there from the start and still waits on you with a smile. Can not wait to go back!
