Ok customer service. The was not so great but the price was ok. And they don't serve lifespan spring water.

May 2018: The rice and peas were dry, steamed vegetables had no flavor, the lady at the counter was not informative at all. I’ve had much better oxtails at home. Go elsewhere. You’ll get more taste for your money

My husband and i had our 1st lunch when we 1st met at Sweet Spice in Sav, plus other times, it was so good but when we had dinner here (Negril)cpl months ago it was awful, had to return food to kitchen, it came back worst, the waitress didnt seem to care either. Never will return. It's unfortunate as the owners are such nice decent folks.

I've been here twice, once in June 2016 and i had the curry shrimp and they were so overdone but i loved the pasta salad so much. This time i ordered curry chicken and it was good just a little salty and the pasta salad was no good. I was sad because i was really looking forward to the salad and wish they had more Jamaican entre choices. Besides that it's a relaxed atmosphere.

It came highly recommended but I wasn't that fussy about it. We had a lot better Jamaican food at other restaurants while there and they were a lot cheaper.

Sweet spice is a delightful restaurant, the staff is friendly and courteous but I guess you're wondering about the food. Am I right?

The prices are quite affordable for locals and travelers, the food is excellent, quantity and quality are on point. I was so full I couldn't believe there was more on the plate!

For anyone going to negril, you have to stop by this small restaurant. The outward appearance gives the impression it will be sub par, but I love the setting. It is truly delightful

Five stars to this great local restaurant that provides traditional Jamaican favorites cooked to order. It's refreshing to find an air conditioned restaurant in Jamaica, and when you have had enough of the mosquitoes and no-see-ums this place is a welcome respite. Only had one issue with service being rude in all the times I've been there. Sweet Spice is a requirement for their curried goat and conch each time I'm in town. Meals start with a tasty complimentary broth/soup, and most entrees are served with rice and peas, a cabbage slaw sans the mayo, and pasta salad.

Real Authentic Jamaican dishes at reasonable prices. Comfortable kid friendly environment with pleasant staff. Their Seafood was amazing and the Blended Fruit Punch was my favorite. Love this place!

Great food, large portions, friendly ambiance, and great staff make this a wonderful place to eat, especially if you want some authentic Jamaican dishes. Prices were fair and the food was excellent tasting. We did not leave hungry. We had a long wait because we were such a large party of 15. However, they accommodated us very well and even divided up our checks for us.

Nice food. If your a party of 5 or more expect to pay nothing less than 10,000$JD. We paid just over 10,000 as a party of seven. There is a menu. The place was quiet and cosy and it had a toilet. A mix of people go there from locals to tourists. So local food with tourist prices.

The only vegetarian option was vegetables with rice and peas which did not make me full. My mom ordered fish but it was a really small portion, so neither of us were full. When we told this to the waitress he just laughed at us. He never once checked on us to ask us if everything was alright. He was just looking at football with his pal, who probably was the boss. The boss was staring at us ALL THE TIME which made us really uncomfortable and creeped out. Big no no to this place.

Popped in there, had the BBQ chicken, service was fast and friendly, food tastes like a good old fashioned home cooked meal, like how your mother used to do it. Very reasonably priced ( cheap!) and a good sized portioned, I ate it up even though I was stuffed ( tastes great)

WHAT A FABULOUS RESTAURANT CHOICE!!! The waiter Garfield was wonderful, professional and super friendly. I had the red snapper and it was so delicious that each bite sent lightning bolts and tingles throughout my body. My boyfriend ordered the beef stew and finished off every last morsel. The complimentary soup at the beginning was also a nice added touch. Very reasonably priced to boot. We will most certainly be returning.
