Please do not use Sixt Montego Bay! Still waiting for my $1,000 deposit to be returned!
This office should be shut down as soon as possible. Please police take care of this fraudfull place!
The sixt Montego Bay office leaves a LOT to be desired. Decent service would be a great place to start. We booked our reservation for a car more than 6 months in advance. When we arrived they did not have the car we had ordered and gave us an older vehicle And charged us $200 USD more than the agreed upon cost(false advertisement). Not only that they charged (not held but actually Charged us) $2000 USD for insurance that we were not informed about before hand. So to the car. It had multiple mechanical problems including but not limited to there was a very noticeable vibration in the steering, we had to add power steering fluid to the vehicle for it to move on day 2 of our 10 day trip, we had to add air to the tires. We were asked to call if there was any issues with the vehicle and when we did more than 5 times in the first 3 days. We were told there were no other vehicles available and blamed for the problems. I have never been treated so poorly or with more disrespect from a company in my life. I will definitely not be using this company again.
The worst experience
It's been three weeks since the contract with Sixt was finished and so far I have not been refunded the value of a prepayment of one thousand dollars! I trusted in the company, I authorized a prepayment of absurd value (since the value of the car rental for a week was about 40% of this amount) and, mainly, I relied on the word of the employees. Don´t trust them! Never choose this company!
Never do business with this company. We rented a car and charged us $ 1000 for the insurance on the credit card. I am now trying to cancel this amount. Look for other rental companies because this is the worst of them all.
We went through various cars with them because all of their cars broke down on the middle of the road with us!!! We were staying in Ocho Rios and had to drive back to MBJ to swap out the car!! best of all this??? IT BEEN 3 WEEKS SINCE I RETURNED THE CAR AND I HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED BY $2,000 USD DEPOSIT!!! and "the lady" who does refunds is MIA... DO NOT RENT FROM SIXT AT MBJ!
This was the worse renal company my husband and I ever delt with. They told us we could keep the car if we needed to just call 24 hours ahead when we did call 24 hours ahead they then requested that we brought the car back on the date that we were supposed to because they had to rent it again. Then upon inspection of the car they requested that we pay for a brand new tire because one of the tire had popped and we replaced it. they want us to pay for a brand new tire even though the tires on the car we're not four brand new tires.
Worst service ever. First the lady tried to give me a smaller car than what i have booked and paid for, after she was one hour too late at the office where i was supposed to pick up the car. Again she was late when i wanted to return the car. And now i am waiting to get back my 1500 us dollars that the lady has taken from our credit-card - since 7 weeks!!! She has promised 3 times already to transfer the money back - it does not happen.
