The company was started in 1985 by Lorna and Caswell Ruddock. There was a business opportunity to establish a hardware in the tourist region of Montego Bay. The idea was to cater to the hotels, resorts and developing communities around Rose Hall at that time but the success of the business is mainly due to walk-in customers who the company has developed strong relationships with over the past years. The business is still considered a small business although it has grown over the years. The company specializes in general hardware supplies such as tools, lumber, steel, cement, plumbing fixtures, electrical supplies and other general hardware materials.
