First experience at this hotel and a very disappointing one despite an excellent start by Vernon. I have extensive experience with numerous hotels and decided to celebrate my 22nd anniversary at "Blue Waters". Room was late, and when we got our room it was unfinished and not stocked. Hot water was inconsistent. First anniversary hotel experience without any sort of recognition, shame. Ambiance and facilities very good but Overall service was extremely poor; not worth the money. Vernon apologized profusely, probably this place needs to clone him 6 times. Rated as 2 star because of facilities

I had a lovely stay. Found the staff to be very accomodating. I loved my room. Also, found the hotel to have a great aesthetic appeal. Jamaica is indeed beautiful.

Not only did I have to wait beyond 430 to get a room. I was at the hotel since early in the morning with two toddlers and when I did get in, I didn’t have wash clothes or sufficient towels. The power went out twice. Came back on pretty quick which was at least reasonable. I’m here with a huge portion of my family. We haven’t been all together in forever. Now on top of it all, we can’t even take a hot shower. My mother and father is in the other room freezing to rinse off from the beach, my wife as well as I post this. Absolutely horrific first day, and I already will tell u I would never come to this hotel again.

Rooms were clean modern and large with great views. Great variety of pools and fun water slides. Nice Sandy beach with good swimming. Amazing friendly and fun staff and good service. I wish there was no tub in the room as it took up a lot of space and we never used it. I would have liked more mango and a Jamaican patty. Great vacation!

From the time we arrived we were treated like royalty. No exaggeration, I haven't had to lift a finger to do anything. All inclusive is the only way to go.... Its all so perfect and beautiful and friendly and delicious !!! The shops are gorgeous too. We only had a week there but it was by far the "best "vacation spot I've ever been to. The room is gorgeous, they bring in everything you need . turn down your beds at night , leave chocolate on the pillow , my husbands favorite thing.... I just can't think of one negative thing to say.... Except that we had to leave, it was better than Disney world even if that was free. I know hard to believe , but its true . we had such a great time seeing a few of the sights , like snorkeling, and Dunn's river falls , zip lining was a real trip. !! I'd do it again and this time not scream as much.... Perfect Paradise...

Third days in out of 7 days and two have have been without hot water. Also some issues with power going out intermittently. Staff is friendly and young. Butler staff (if you choose to upgrade) are a little overwhelming at times...calling or coming by...guess they don’t understand the expression don’t call us we’ll call you. Keep you posted if gets better or worse.............. and worse it got...the one day of hot water turned out to be the only one for the week. Staff well trained to stall you with excuse after excuse including hotel manager who initially offered a two day discount after three days of no hot water with the promise of more if problem wasn’t rectified then reneged on that when time came to step up. Only restaurant that you can get a hot meal is the “zen” Japanese style grille, all others don’t understand the concept whether it be appetizers, entrees or side dishes.
The Diamond club which is supposed to include “premium” liquors....smirnoff (I think not), private beach section (not enforced) and Butler service (again a waste of money). Add to this two, that’s right two separate thefts from room, one for cash (maid) and one an expensive Panama straw hat (maintenance and/or butler). Add it all up, spend your money anywhere but at Royalton.

There are definitely still kinks this resort has to work out, but it has great potential.
Organization is not its strong point. We travelled with a large group for our wedding. A lot of the rooms were wrong, including us getting a room with two beds instead of one king.
The rooms were very nice and I really don't think there is a spot with a bad view there.
The food was average. Their pizza was really good though.
Great place to have a wedding. The wedding department was very organized and I top of things. We had a great experience there and the whole wedding was beautiful and went off without a single problem.
The beach was nice and well maintained.
Darren, the yoga instructor was awesome and we had so much fun attending his classes. He's a great teacher!
We found the diamond club worth the extra money. Small issues such as our room change, the safe not working, no umbrella in the room were all resolved much faster than those who were not part of the diamond club (within minutes instead of hours).

The Hotel and the views are beautiful and the staff are very sweet and helpful if you find the right one. That is where the positive experience stops. We checked in on a Thursday and did not have hot water until Friday night and then it was gone again by Saturday morning and did not return until Saturday night. The entire compound lost power twice during our stay and there was no storm in sight to blame it on. We were there for a wedding, it started to rain and the hotel had no contingency plan (meaning no tent, no hall, nothing) in place. We (my family and friends) had to take charge and move chairs and set up a section in the lobby to have the ceremony. Oh and the food was very lackluster. I did not travel to Jamaica to have American food. While I understand food has to be catered to everyone, that doe snot mean not having authentic Jamaican food as well.

Only way to describe this hotel is by giving it 3 stars. Are the rooms nice, and clean? Yes, absolutely. Here's the problem....out of 6 days, we had hot water only for 2, 1 day we had no water at all, and the rest of the time we took cold showers. The staff all push to sell their diamond package to you...we were approached about it nonstop everyday. To top it off, they tried to charge us 140 dollars for a massage we never received. Never ever coming back to royalton.

Stayed 4 nights and was totally disappointed with the service especially and food wasn't all that and very repetitive. Went for a wedding and for the cost of this place it was disappointing. Property was great and beautiful but the customer SERVICE left a lot to be desired. Would not stay there again unless it was for free. Iberiorstar will definitely get my money again. Would not recommend this place. 👎🏿

I had an amazing vacation. I spent 4 days and 3 nights and my fiancé and I had an amazing stay. The staffs were warm, kind and friendly. The venue is clean and fun and the food is great. The 8 different restaurants serve luxury meals and we got the walk out pool room as a complimentary upgrade and we loved it. 👌🏾

I had a great time on vacation September 15 -21 at Royalton Blue Waters. The staff customer service was exceptional. We had a minor issue with the water in which maintenance, Stefan, came and took care of the problem immediately. Shout out to Stefan for his prompt attention to resolve the issue. Royalton Blue Waters is a place I will definitely visit again. Thank you for exceptional customer service.

The Royalton Blue Waters is a great hotel for vacation, conference and meetings. The place is crisp and new, not just internet picturesque. The staff is friendly and courteous. The service is five star excellent and the food is really nice especially the Jamaican dishes. Oh, did I mention food is abundant.

They cater for children of all ages. A personal Nanny is available to take care of the children, so Mom and Dad can enjoy themselves too without worries.

The slides are exhilarating, very fast and winding. Make sure you have brave and adventurous to enter one.

The spa treatment is fit for a king and queen and they have a entertainment schedule for the entire day. You can order room service using your TV anytime.

Don't just read my post and imagine yourself there, book yourself the best vacation experience right now and enjoy your stay.

From getting there to leaving, the service was exceptional! We didn't have to join a line to check in, we were seated comfortably and served with beverages of our choice. We were constantly checked on during the wait for checking in. The food was excellent, staff were very friendly and polite, the grounds well kept and pristine, rooms were modern and we'll kept and what puts the icing on the cake, night life existed!! I will definitely go back and do plan to bring my daughter as there is a water park for her to enjoy. P.s....The Lazy River Pool is to die for.....I was a kid again!!

Restaurants are well designed but serve awful food. Best bet is to stick to the buffet. However beware of being served under cooked meat. My daughter almost got food poisoning from eating raw pork. Also the room was dirty upon check and ac did not work. And you need to ask for everything two - three times before you receive it ( towels, room serviced, coffee, stock refrigerator etc.) otherwise the entertainment was good and employees are very pleasant.

Beautiful place! Rooms are great and clean with breath taking views. The beach is not as nice as the 7 mile beach in Negril. There is some grass and rocks in the water which deducted point for me. The food is not terrible, but I don't expect the best food at an all-inclusive resort. The staff is friendly and the place is well maintained.

Words cannot begin to describe how impressed I was. They thought of everything to ensure your comfort.
From the moment we stepped in, and were greeted by Omar (ambassador)from the Blue waters, we felt at home.
Leighton, from the bell services department was excellent in navigating through each feature of our lovely room, especially the television.
He was professional and filled with humor
Our television was personalized with our name, we were able to order room service through our television and view scheduled activities on the tv as well. Reminders were broadcasted across the television of what main events there were for the day.
Who needs to worry about losing their room key, when your bracelet was used as your key as well?
They said room service would take up to 45 mins. In 25 mins,in 30 mins, I was already diving into some delicious meal.
Entertainment was well organized and kept us on our toes. From cultural dances to live performances to karaoke to clubbing. Each activity got off to a very prompt start. It was so good that I had to get up on my feet and lose myself in the music (and trust me, my hobby is watching people dance, not being a part).
The rest I'll leave to the marketing team lol.. his and her rain shower, bath tub and all...charger port in safety box..
Over the past year, I have been to 4 resorts, and this is by far the most consistent I've seen.
    Excellent Customer Service --check
    Tasty food-- check
    Efficiency__ check
    Excellent entertainment--check
The only recommendations I'd make is to increase variety in meals at the buffet.
Before I forget, Natasha from the bar and grill was always there to our rescue.
See you next year Royalton!! :) Continue to be fantastic!!!

We were EXTREMELY disappointed in our recent stay at the Royalton Blue Waters resort. Bad service, bad food, poor housekeeping. Constant harassment by drug dealers and prostitutes on the beach. Read the reviews and ask yourself, is this a resort I would want to go to? People who gave the resort a five star, but had complaints seems a bit strange. Five star reviews from people that supposedly had a perfect vacation when everyone that I talked to during our trip complained about cold food, no hot water, dirty rooms and so on. I question some of the five star ratings that only have one review or gave the hotel a five star, but complained about numerous issues. Don't get sucked into the travel smart sales pitch.
