Progressive has a very convenient and sanitary shopping space, the plaza on which it is located sometimes has adequate parking. You can expect a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, meats not regularly found, but please expect to pay dearly. The service is mediocre. There is a juice bar that prepares blended concoctions (from a limited menu) of smoothies, shakes and juice which is as tasty as it is pricey.

It was my first experience at that location in Eight Rivers Plaza. I was able to find my items with ease. The cashier was very polite/courteous. Great experience.

Went shopping here yesterday the service was so slack there wasn't any bags to put customers items in person's had to walk out with there items in there hand others had them pushed on trolleys and places in there trunks or on the back seat but what about those customers who don't have a vehicle, I found it rather distasteful for a well support business place like progressive. So of the staff especially those at the bag stand need to know how to deal with people in general. Extremely poor service progressive .

Great grocery but vegetables and fruits (except delicious watermelon!) were pricey (Bronx whole food price)!! Sometimes they run out of bags so bring your own unless you have a car to load into.

Cashier #2 was full of attitude and doesn't know how to speak to people... I think the supervisors need to pay keen attention to the cashiers attitude towards customers.... otherwise fairly good place to shop... one stop supermarket for all your needs...

It has a lot of choices, many brands.

You won't find the best prices here, as this is like a Jamaican 'Whole Foods.' You will however, find pretty much all the things you would usually want to make your journey to another country have some reminders of home, plus all the extras that are of course very Jamaican. Very helpful staff as well. Remember though, this is a very US version of a Jamaican grocery store... If you want a more local experience, find one of the older local stores.

Progressive foods is very clean and their produce are always fresh. Very convenient and accessible. I would definitely recommend here to anyone who’s looking for a food item and can’t find it, most likely progressive foods will have it.

Convenient parking. Offers almost everything you'll want from a supermarket. Fresh meats, produce and they have an in-store bakery and juice bar.

Roaches in the bathroom. Flies in the dining area. Reservation was made for lunch and dinner but was only offered breakfast. Not much variety re breakfast choices. Hot water was limited in shower. Most amenities were not available.

Modern grocery store like any that you would find in the states. They have a juice and smoothie bar in the produce section and a person working in the liquor section to help make your selections (gotta try the Jamaican rum!). Overall I was very impressed with how friendly all the employees that worked there were and it is a nice touch that they carry out the groceries and help you load the car.

I enjoyed the shopping experience but very disappointed with a product. I purchased a bag of black eye peas and on opening, have found tiny crawling insects running through it. I can't use it, and now concerned of the quality of its other products. Very disappointing.

As super markets in Ocho Rios go, you can find just about anything you want here. They even have a juice bar, ready to go meals and a baked good section. Prices can be a bit high but for the convenience of shopping comfortably with ample space, this is the place to go.

This grocery store makes you feel like you are back in the States. Clean, air conditioned and fully stocked. My only complaint was all of their frozen food was gone due to an issue with the freezers. I am sure this isn't a problem often but it would have been nice to have access to frozen food. It was misleading because they had signs saying to ask the meat department for the frozen food but when we did they didnt have anything in the back.
