For Autism Awareness month we celebrated under the theme " Inform to Change".... <3 <3
We went by the Blue Diamond Shopping Center in Montego Bay and also the Cornwall Regional Hospital were we shared information with the public about Autism, How to deal with the behavior s associated with it; How to communicate with those who are both verbal and non verbal;... How to teach them; and transitioning.
It was a wonderful experience...

The sensory movie is a movie viewing with some adjustments. There is low lighting versus darkness, lowered volume and silence is not a requirement. This way parents can feel comfortable that no matter what happens there will be no one coming to escort you outside :) We need your help so that we can get to get the word out there and we hope you can assist us by sharing this pic with your friends....Thank You :)

So today was the day!!! Summer is over and the new school term began. Old students!! New students!! They all came in like a storm. Ready and waiting to see who would take up the challenge ;) .... But thank God, we are a school that is covered under the Blood of Jesus, and God gave us that extra strength that we needed as staff, to take on the challenge :) !! Today we did a lot. but when you love <3 your job, even when the pressure is there u just cant stop... Can't wait for day number 2...:)
