When I made my initial contact to set up an appointment, I was not impressed. Staff was very rude over the phone. Despite, I made an appointment for a massage. My appointment visit was very unpleasant. The masseuse had no idea what she was doing. She was rude and kept disappearing out of the room with no warning. She seemed very angry and acted as if I was interrupting her time. Without going further into much detail, the lack of customer service here is astounding, especially for a spa business. My sister also had a manicure here and she was not impressed by the customer service offered.

I agree 100% with Fiona. My sister and I had our nails done ... the nail techs were talking about the client before us in a derogatory way. As a result we decided not to tip them. They didn't care that we were there listening to them. Smh. Ambiance means nothing when you're annoyed with the service. The receptionist was no better all smiles for certain shades while others were pushed aside. Good for those who were treated the correct way. I know they lost 2 clients and money is money in respective of who is holding it.

I was treated to a Momento Gold gift certificate by hubby. I made an appointment for 2 pm May 14, 2016. The customer service rep on the phone was so abrupt and lacked training. I arrived on time for my appointment. I had to deal with the same Rep who I recognized based on her tone. She was unwelcoming and impolite. She offered no information as a first time customer. She told me to record my name on the clipboard and have a seat. I waited 45mins before being called to go in. The masseur was welcoming and did an excellent job. I moved on to my pedicure. She was welcoming and professional. After which I had my nails done. The nail tech was very poor. I went back to the Rep to record payments for services rendered. I caught her making rude faces and saying something behind my back. I was utterly disappointed because I queried my bill. Jencare needs professional customer service reps that do not stigmatize clients based on looks and skin color.
