Hotel is in secluded area of Jamaica. Dinner was fair, but breakfast very limited with choices. The hotel rooms need renovating. There were open spaces in the flooring, front door, windows and walls where red ants and lizards entered. To add, the bathroom floor would get wet after a shower, and toilet leaked. I must say that the owners and staff were approachable and tried their best to assist. The hotel has potential if improvements are completed soon.
Beautifull place in Jamaica. The rooms are confortables and the owners very friendly
Great secluded location lovely family run resort well worth a stay.
Very quite and comfortable little place, beautiful and the price is very good.
The complimentary beakfast is lacking; the only hot item was coffee, or tea if you rather. No eggs, sausages etc...what you can expect though is a bunch of fruits (which is a plus) then light stuff like cereal -_- or sweet stuff like banana fritters... the rooms were ok (adequate fans, windows and ventilation to make up for the lack of air conditioning) in addition, there was heated water for the pipes. The overall atmosphere was quite enjoyable but the host though needs to work on his attitude and people skills. Myself and others on my trip dont see ourselves revisiting this place. Also overpriced for what you end up getting.
For the adventurous who doesn't mind lots of mosquitoes and no air conditioning
Amazing stay ! Martine and Bod are excellent host. The view is breath taking. The room are very clean. Highly recommend this place if you want to visit this side of the island.
The friendliest people on the island! We stayed here about 7-8 yrs ago & it turned out to be one of my favorite places. Delicious homemade food, made fresh by lovely Margarite, always greets you with a smile. There's great company, conversation & drinks with Bob & their handsome son, Romain, who also turned us on to some groovy local music. The cozy little bungalows come with shower, toilet & net canopy, a lovely pool & beautiful ocean bluff views. Its an unassuming, yet wonderful, out-of-the-way place for a holiday without the tourists. Very attractive prices, too! Also worth mentioning, Bob had the most extensive sand collection in his bar that I've ever seen. Vials of different colors & textures of sands from all over the world line the walls. Someone really ought to call Guiness for him. :) I highly recommend staying here if you're not into the pomp & posh of the exorbitantly priced Americanized resorts.
When you want to get away from everything for a reasonable price, and have great food at your beckon call, go here. It is not a big hotel, it doesn't have all you can eat buffets, and if you don't want to be herded around like a sheep like the bigger resorts you come here. Peace and quiet, friendly hosts, and "private" get a ways.
