Hi-Lo Food Stores was first incorporated in Jamaica in 1954.
However, it was not until 1984 that the chain of stores was acquired by Grace Kennedy Limited. Today, Hi-Lo Food Stores is a operating as a division of the GK Foods & Services Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grace Kennedy Ltd.

Join us in welcoming Miss Anastacia Davis, Master of Fine Arts student at Full Sail University, who will be joining the Hi-Lo team as part of the GK Birthright Programme. Miss Davis, a film production student, will be working alongside our marketing department for the duration of the programme.
The GraceKennedy Jamaican Birthright Programme is an internship programme for 2nd and 3rd generation Jamaican university students living in USA, UK and Canada.

Craving a dish with a spicy kick? Try prepping this delicious lunch menu staple, accented with our crushed scotch bonnet pepper sauce!
Ingredients: 4 spinach or flour tortillas - 8 inches, room temperature 2 ½ Cups Lettuce... 1/2 cup cream cheese spread 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked, cooled and diced or shredded rotisserie chicken 4 slices bacon cooked and diced 1 medium cucumber peeled and chopped 1/2 medium red onion thinly sliced 1 medium avocado pitted and diced 1 medium tomato, diced. Hi-Lo Crushed Scotch Bonnet Sauce
Method: Spread each tortilla with 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese spread, top with a layer of lettuce, and arrange about 1/2 cup of chicken on the leaves. Top with about 1 slice of bacon for each tortilla, cucumber, red onion, and avocado. Top with Hi-Lo Crushed Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce.
Fold the bottom of each tortilla up about 2 inches, and start rolling the wrap from the right side. When the wrap is half-rolled, fold the top and bottom of the tortilla down, enclosing the filling, and continue rolling to make a tight, compact cylinder.
If serving immediately, slice in half and serve. If making ahead, wrap each chicken wrap tightly with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
