Kulcha Shock: The Ganja & Roots Experience is a platform for the conversation on cannabis. It is a heightened awareness. Kulcha Shock is a part of the Rastafari Radio Education series being produced by the Rastafari Studies Unit, at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, in association with the Decriminalization Herb Advocacy and Public Awareness network(DHAPA).
Be sure to engage with The Ganjatalkblog (https://ganjatalkblog.wordpress.com); an online Rastafari resource for sustainable development developed by Bongo Niah as a platform for serious and critical documentation and dialogue on Cannabis, known locally to Jamaica as "ganja". This site facilitates public education, advocacy and responsible discussions about the culture of Ganja and the Rastafari involvement with this herb, described by the Movement as a sacrament. It is also conceived as a data resource and publication outlet for the emerging debate about the legalization of the Ganja plant.
