  Dear Customers, There has been some social media commentary regarding charges for gravy at our restaurant and we are providing clarity on this. The small fee charged for gravy is made when an additional gravy is requested other than the menu item ordered (for example order for fried chicken with request for additional curried goat/oxtail gravy). The additional gravy requested is usually a more expensive menu item (chicken vs oxtail/curried goat). There is a cost for producin...g extra gravy (meat, seasoning) to meet these consistent requests and we could no longer carry the cost. The situation is really not unusual as franchises charge a fee for ketchup/mayonaise/sauces. There is no charge for getting gravy with your ordered meal (for example oxtail gravy with oxtail meal).
