Went here in 2007 on a Make-A-Wish trip after defeating my cancer. It was all I could ever want and more. The included restaurants were astounding, the staff was helpful, our resort was a little quieter and reserved in comparison to its counterparts, and it is one of the most special memories I've made with my mom, dad, and sister.
To give you an idea of how good the food was, I gained 14 pounds in 7 days!!! (No cannabis was consumed by me, either..for you jokesters whose.mind went there). No worries, I was 17 so weight problems weren't exactly an issue haha.
If you can, and if she still works there in the same capacity, say hi to Victoria at the omelette station in the morning. Talk about a good heart and an AMAZING cook.
The resort also have beach volleyball, a pool, rentable ocean toys, and much more. If you're looking for a resort that is more peaceful then nightlife, Sandy Bay is the one for you (there is music and dancing at night, however =)).report this review
