Sakunthala Sidda received the Bachelor of Technology in Engineering degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Kuppam Engineering college, Kuppam, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University at Hyderabad, India in 2007, Master of Engineering with honors in Power & Industrial Drives from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur, India in 2011 and Pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) – External in Department of Electrical Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur under the guidance of Dr.R.Kiranmayi, Associate Professor & HOD, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, JNTUA CEA, Ananthapur since May 2016.

She is currently Adhoc Lecturer at Department of Electrical Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kalikiri, JNTUA- Andhrapradesh, India.
